We Have the Power to Impact Our Future, and We’re Doing Something About It.
The “National Public Safety Alliance for Individuals with Disabilities” (NPS-AID program) is a no-cost* service developed to help public safety officials better assist individuals with disabilities and/or special needs during emergencies or other interactions. By providing emergency personnel with vital information—such as a participant’s disability or special need, emergency contacts, physical description, current photograph, and more—the program ensures more informed, compassionate, and effective responses.
As an NPS-AID trusted resource partner, the Inspira Health System supports this initiative that reinforces a shared commitment to supporting vulnerable community members. Together, we are working to ensure that individuals with disabilities receive the help, protection, and respect they deserve during emergencies, when reported missing, or during encounters with law enforcement.
Unlike local databases limited to a single jurisdiction or dispatch center, the NPS-AID program is a nationwide, cross-jurisdictional initiative. It allows individuals and families to submit critical personal information from anywhere, at any time, and ensures that participating NPS-AID Chapters and OPS Network agencies across the country can access that information instantly—regardless of where the individual resides—when every second counts.

“The NPS-AID Program is the only nationwide capable initiative of its kind.“
*The NPS-AID Program is a ZERO cost initiative for all participants, community, users, caregivers and loved ones.
